FRANK Mendoza, Dave Bercasio and I did a post-event assessment after yesterday's formal launch of the "Mahal Ko ang Pilipinas" (MKAP) movement at the Philippine Plaza Hotel, where more aspiring "Dream Cities" were initiated and eight, including Naga, were declared Public Governance System (PGS)-compliant. First of all, I have been closely monitoring the blogs of Mr. Willy Prilles Jr. to update myself on what is going on with the ordeals that Naga City Hall is facing. I have even printed the pdf documents I secured from his blog. All I can do is to read the news and wondering why such thing (ordered to vacate) happens to a very professional government institution. Ever tried googling for shapefiles philippines gis data sets? You can get plenty but most of them are only ADM1 level spatial data.NAMRIA I think already have shapefiles available up to the barangay level but not for free. Pity.Try this: http://gis.naga.gov.ph/phildata/You'll get barangay shapefiles of Camarines Sur. If you have some data to share send it over so that we could publish. All entries into the main compound were barricaded, except for the main road beside the Raul Roco Library. Public Safety Office (PSO) personnel were assigned to guard all offices cited in the eviction notice, including the Youth Center and the City Engineer's Office the Civic Center three blocks away. In essence, literary practice is a subject-object dialectic between writer-reader, writer-milieu, and reader-milieu. That is why there is such a thing as literary aesthetics.
