My romantic pursuits (if there’s any at all) has always been on the sidelines – never a center of discussions & never a topic in my conversations. However, there has been interest on this & I am sort of starting to receive privy queries on this regard. Fortunately, I have now an answer and I want to declare that I am steady with a name that starts with ‘I’ and ends with ‘e’: iPhone Sweety And we’re very intimate all the time :) Seriously though, dating is not something that one should speak lightly about. Ate Trudy once brought this infamous biscuit called ‘Filipinos’ home from her patient who just toured Barcelona. filipinos Finally, I got to find out what ‘Filipinos’ taste like! Oh and a piece of English advice ‘try Filipinos after one hour in the fridge’ ! filipinos So? Not really that fantastic or new - it reminds me of Pretzel cookie I adore much when I was a kid. Other than that, so so ok. filipinos One has really got to know the real Filipinos who won’t need that 1-hr refrigeration. “Igwang melamine?” Got melamine? Of course not - we Filipnos [...]Read the rest of this entry »

Today, my wife received dozens of text messages, emails, Yahoo IM messages and Friendster messages from friends since early in the morning. Why? It is her birthday today, that's why! But, aside from all these, she was entertained by my two daughters with greetings, dancing and singing throughout the day. I think I need a lot of things to do to cope up with the drift....Happy, Happy Birthday! (nagugurang na kita pero beautiful ka man giraray!!!)

The Mindanao Situation and Charter Change

I. BackgroundA.The BANGSAMORO struggle The situation in Mindanao is a complex experience of economic, political, and demographic factors flowing into a social context of cultural and ethnic diversity. Professor Randy David aptly describe the situation when he did an article on the Mindanao situation using sociological concepts: “The Bangsamoro problem is entangled in so many historical, legal, cultural and political questions that it is irresponsible to talk about it in a simplistic way. Every attempt to capture the issues in a single frame is bound to inflame passions and exacerbate prejudices. Reason demands that we step back [...]Read the rest of this entry »

Macy stayed for about two weeks while Dia was only here for a week.I had my birthday celebrated during our Central West 2 Care Group. Thanks to the ever loving and supportive members! Marquez deserves another shot at Pacquiao

THE WAY Juan Manuel Marquez slowly softened and eventually demolished Ring Magazine champion Joel Casamayor today all the more convinced me that the Mexican champion is the real measure of Manny Pacquiao's true worth.Like a number of Pinoy boxing pundits, I happen to believe that Marquez was the real winner in their last fight, which was replayed on a bus VCD player on my way to Naga from Libon, Albay.I watched today's fight at our home in Sagrada, together with my wife, my father and younger brother, [...]Read the rest of this entry »

I feel vulnerable. Amidst the busiest of place in Chinatown, I shared a portion of who I am to someone today. It was for the most part difficult but not as much as the first time I did it. I am actually realising it’s getting less of a task the more I do it - the more I surrender my truth. And that someone now belongs to a very few people who know my maths. It’s not me to talk about personal lives. Especially mine. It takes great strength in me to open doors that [...]Read the rest of this entry »
